Jonathan Beamer is the former Chief Marketing Officer at AmeriSave Mortgage.

Originally trained as an engineer, Jonathan started his career in product development where he witnessed product design mistakes that stemmed from a lack of customer understanding – which he recognized as a fundamental role of marketing – so he left tech, got his MBA, and joined the agency ranks at Digitas leading strategy and analytics for brands that included Aflac, Goodyear, P&G, General Motors and AT&T before being recruited brand side to Progressive Insurance.

Since then, he has spent his career defining brand strategies and leading marketing teams for fast growing companies that include Progressive, SolarCity, Monster, Forward and AmeriSave, where he was focused on making the brand a trusted, household name.

Jonathan believes that great products originate from knowing customers and prides himself on working at the intersection of creativity and analytics to build consumer-engaging campaigns that differentiate and build brands while also delivering ROI and growing businesses. He is a natural leader who guides teams with empathy, humor, and best-in-class marketing methodologies.

Jonathan earned his MBA, with Distinction, from Tuck in 2002. He also holds a MS and BS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, with a focus on embedding microcontrollers in mechanical systems.
