Veteran technology entrepreneur Patrick Markert founded AmeriSave Mortgage in 2002 with the goal of making homeownership more affordable for more Americans.
He built the company on the premise that automation and artificial intelligence could dramatically streamline and optimize the mortgage origination process, generating significant operational savings that could be passed along to consumers in the form of lower mortgage rates. This reimagined way of home financing has helped hundreds of thousands of homeowners secure low-cost mortgages simply, conveniently, and faster than traditional lenders.

Twenty years later, AmeriSave has grown into one of the largest privately-owned mortgage lenders in the country with more than $120 billion in loans funded to date. In recent years, the company also launched three new affiliates—AmeriSave Solar, AmeriSave Realty, and AmeriSave Insurance—to help homeowners save even more money.
Along the way, AmeriSave has also become a mortgage industry employer of choice thanks to its leadership and award-winning culture that focuses on employee success and company growth.
Prior to founding AmeriSave Mortgage, Patrick founded and led IT Force, an IT consulting company. Before that, he studied computer science at the University of Missouri. He is also a board member of the Inspiring Children Foundation, which empowers children struggling with financial hardship, anxiety, and depression.
