Patrick Markert Chief Executive Officer, Chief Technology Officer and Founder
Patrick founded Amerisave in December 2001 with a vision of leveraging technology and the internet
to deliver mortgage loans to consumers nationwide in a streamlined automated fashion. He is the
chief architect of the Loan Origination System (LOS) and integrated CRM system Amerisave uses to
facilitate the mortgage application and loan closing process. Amerisave is one of the few mortgage
lenders that run on an entirely proprietary LOS system.
Prior to starting Amerisave in 2001 Patrick built and ran an IT consulting company called IT Force.
IT Force was established in 1996 and at its peak had a staff of over 200 IT consultants providing
technology solutions to the financial services industry. Prior to running IT Force Patrick worked as
an independent IT consultant to a wide variety of companies and industries. Some engagements
included: Information America, where he designed and architected various information technology
projects; AGCO, Ortho, where he worked on an accounting and dealer finance system; and Check Free,
where he worked on an Automated Clearinghouse (ACH) system.

Carol Poupart President of Operations
Carol is the President in charge of Amerisave's operations, including sales, underwriting, closing
and post-closing departments.
Carol brings to Amerisave over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry.
Previously she was the Executive Vice President at SouthStar Funding, where she supervised 220
employees and operations in four processing centers across the country. Prior to SouthStar, Carol
was a Vice President at Washington Mutual where she supervised ten mortgage lending offices.
Carol hails from the University of South Florida where she studied Economics and Accounting.
David Ryan Vice President of Credit Risk
David is responsible for the overall management of Amerisave's underwriting department, managing the
company's risk position and how it relates to all departments.
David has over 16+ years of management experience, with 11+ years in consumer finance and mortgage
lending. Prior to joining Amerisave, David helped create a new division for a mortgage lender, where
he held the title of Division Credit Manager. There, he was responsible for the start-up and overall
management of processing, underwriting, closing, post-closing, and loan delivery, which had a 100%
sell rate. Also, David has worked for several mortgage companies and has enjoyed success in every
aspect of mortgage lending, including positions as a Loan Officer, Underwriter, Sales Manager,
Branch Manager, Underwriting Manager, and Divisional Manager.
David obtained a Bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia.
Robert K. Wilkes Vice President of Business Partner Division
As Vice President of the Business Partner Division at Amerisave, Robert oversees and facilitates the
incorporation of smaller mortgage companies and recruiting of mortgage professionals across the
country. The business partner program has grown to over 700 employees in the first 4 months and is
quickly making Amerisave one of the fastest growing mortgage companies in the nation.
Prior to joining Amerisave, Robert founded and managed First Discount Mortgage company. He grew the
business to 50 originators closing 150 loans per month in 17 states. Robert was responsible for
making First Discount one of the most successful mortgage brokers in the country. Before joining
the mortgage industry, Robert was a national best selling author, publishing 6 different books.
Robert received a Bachelors Degree from University of Georgia where he was a full scholarship
quarterback as well as a member of the baseball team.
